Chemicals Policy
 Ensuring protection of human health and the environment due to the use of chemicals is a commitment of rubber
manufacturers across Europe.
Although strict legislations are already in force at European and
national levels, ETRMA members have undertaken a number of pro-active
initiatives to improve the management of rubber chemicals and
processes.
This demarche allows industry to timely and effectively address
legislative developments and to contribute to the consultative
procedures involving the authorities, industry and other interested
stakeholders.
