Producers of Rubber Waterproofing Membranes regularly meet within the
sector group RUWA to mainly contribute to the development of new
European standards and legislation targeting the rubber
waterproofing manufacturing. This specifically concerns the EU
involvement in the development and the production of new European
standards/legislations (UEAtc, EOTA, …) relating to rubber membrane
applications (Roofing, Waterproofing and Lining).
The sector group also promotes the wider use of EPDM membranes in
roofing and geotechnical applications through increased awareness
and communication of the membranes and foster responsible methods,
codes of practises and applications to the market and authorities.
