ISP rally for urgent Commission action on vehicle data legislation

Last week, 10 representatives of independent automotive service providers have called on the European Commission to urgently provide equal access to vehicle-generated data for all market actors.

As the Data Act does not address the technical requirements for equitable data access in the automotive industry, sector-specific legislation is needed to protect consumer choices and offer safer, smarter and more affordable data-driven mobility.
