ETRMA’s comments to the PFAS REACH restriction public consultation

ETRMA has submitted its input on the polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) REACH restriction as proposed by the five competent authorities of Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden and The Netherlands in order to provide EU regulators with evidence-based findings on the social and economic impacts that are expected to occur should this group of substances be restricted under REACH.

ETRMA advocates for a balanced regulatory framework, which will allow the continuous use of fluoropolymers in the tyre and rubber industry.
